“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” - Mark Twain

Enrichment Retreats

Fully funded travel opportunities for high school students of color. Students will undergo an interview process before selections are made. Selections are made based on trip capacity and the subjects covered. *Signing up does not guarantee a spot*.

Passport To The World

A passport opens doors to new opportunities. To apply, students must submit a short video explaining why they want one. We’ll provide both parents and students with a detailed list of requirements and help them schedule a time to review the necessary documents and steps involved.

Students in grades 9 through 12 are eligible. Both the student and their parent or guardian must agree to participate in an interview and attend pre-trip information sessions.

How many students can join each trip?

Each trip is limited to a maximum of 10 students.

How are participants chosen for the trips?

Selection is based on an interview process. The interview allows us to learn about the student's needs and interests. When there's a trip that aligns with those interests, we contact students to offer them a spot.

LTL covers all costs for the trips, including passports, transportation, accommodation, meals, and activities. Students only need to bring their own spending money for personal expenses.

Do I need to attend any meetings before the trip?
